UNISON Mersey Community Hospitals & Health branch is one of the largest health branches within the North West. We as a branch cover a very large geographical patch with over 4,000 members and cover a number of NHS trusts and private organisations such as Mersey Care NHS FT Trust, Liverpool Community Health, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Groups, Liverpool CSU and other associated private care providers such as BUPA Homes, Marie Curie and numerous others. UNISON is one of the UK’s largest trade unions, serving more than 1.3 million members. We represent full-time and part-time staff who provide public services, although they may be employed in both the public and private sectors.
